This climb is easier than the one from the northern end of Llanddona Beach. But that's not saying much. You know a climb is steep when the bits your brain is telling you are flat still register as 10％ on the GPS. A real challenge. This is the better way to descend to the beach, as its not quite as steep and the road surface is a little less gravelly than the other end. But watch for the speedbump just before the sharpest corner on the last drop.... read more

This climb is easier than the one from the northern end of Llanddona Beach. But that's not saying much. You know a climb is steep when the bits your brain is telling you are flat still register as 10％ on the GPS.
A real challenge.
This is the better way to descend to the beach, as its not quite as steep and the road surface is a little less gravelly than the other end. But watch for the speedbump just before the sharpest corner on the last drop.
