Prachtige klim met veel haarspeldbochten! Deze begint op de (helaas) drukke weg langs de schitterende Amalfikust. Eenmaal op de beklimming is het rustiger met verkeer.
Zeker de haarspeldbochtensectie is erg mooi omdat je uitzicht blijft houden op de blauwe zee die steeds iets verder onder je ligt! De weg is nooit heel stijl en loopt redelijk regelmatig omhoog. Dus goed om in je ritme te komen!
Vlak onder de top staat een monument voor wielerlegende Fausto Coppi. Een extra beloning voor na de beklimming.
