Wide and good bike path in the beginning. Then cobblestones when you enter Hekelgem. Take enough speed when you come from Aalst and you are at the top before you know it.
Breed en goed fietspad in het begin. Daarna klinkers als je Hekelgem binnenrijdt. Genoeg snelheid nemen als je van Aalst komt en je bent boven voordat je het weet.
The climb itself you see a bit if you come from Aalst. After the descent you can use your speed to bridge the first part and then you can just 'punch' and you're up. You have on the road itself a bike path that is separate from the road, so in that area it is a plus.
De klim zelf zie je al een eindje liggen als je van Aalst komt. Na de afdaling kan je je snelheid goed gebruiken om het eerste stukje te overbruggen en daarna kan je even 'punchen' en ben je boven. Je hebt op de dreef zelf een fietspad dat los van de weg ligt, dus op dat vlak is dit wel een pluspunt.
