The first part over the heath rises visibly, but the devil is in the fact that the road still goes up false flat for a long time. In the evening hours watch out for roaming pigs and crossing deer.
Hele mooie omgeving en als je gewoon bijschakelt is dit een ideale route om even het zuur in de benen te krijgen. Als je toch terugschakelt heb je tijd zat om van de omgeving te genieten. Het eerste gedeelte over de hei loopt zichtbaar omhoog, maar het venijn zit erin dat de weg nog lang vals plat omhoog loopt. In de avonduren uitkijken voor meerennende zwijnen en overstekende herten.
Very nice climb. Not steep, not heavy but nice and long and all the time the road goes through beautiful and varied nature. Recommended if you like to look around you while cycling.
Heel fraaie klim. Niet steil, niet zwaar maar wel lekker lang en al die tijd loopt de weg door prachtige en afwisselende natuur. Aanrader als je graag om je heen kijkt tijdens het fietsen.
Very nice climb. First some forest, then over a beautiful piece of heath and then again the tough last part through the forest. A nice bike path, obviously not very quiet in the middle of the day, but in the evening or early morning you're practically alone.
In the early evening, it's almost a rule rather than an exception to see boars here! There is a road next to the bike path, but it's quite busy, so I always choose the bike path, even if you have to wait for tourists, but nothing annoying.
Hele mooie klim. Eerst wat bos, dan over een schitterend stuk hei en dan weer het pittige laatste stuk door het bos. Een mooi fietspad, uiteraard midden op de dag niet heel rustig, maar in de avond of vroegere ochtend ben je praktisch alleen.
In de vroege avond is het bijna meer regel dan uitzondering dat je hier zwijnen ziet! Er ligt een weg naast het fietspad, maar die is best druk, dus ik kies altijd het fietspad, ook al moet je dan soms heel even wachten op toeristen, maar niets hinderlijks.
