Ridden this ride on 16.10.2022( https://www.strava.com/activities/7973730093), my first ride from clilmbfinder and was surprised at the severity of this ride. The altimeters according to my garmin were a bit more than indicated which is not a problem at all of course. I hadn't ridden much in this region before and was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful region to cycle through. What I found unfortunate was that it is almost exclusively a series of ascents and descents, with the exception of two short sections along the water. Perhaps it would be more pleasant to add some nice in-between sections and maybe one or two/three less climbs or just increase the distance. But all in all happy to have ridden this ride
Ridden this one on Friday 06/08 (https://www.strava.com/activities/5748630461) and it is indeed worth the effort. FritsD is absolutely right: a lot of descents are not interesting: pits, badly repaired asphalt that sticks out... This made the tour, together with the bad weather, a little less interesting.
Furthermore, there are some nice climbs, but it's a pity that many climbs are cut off halfway or partly to follow the route and to take that climb left or right as well.
There are no really steep climbs, maybe 50m once, but for the rest it's all very doable.
If you want to follow this tour, check out the climbs separately and plan your own tour around them. Because halfway the climb, you can still see the altimeters in front of you, and the GPS is sending you to the left or to the right, sometimes back to the main road, to take the other climb as well... It wasn't necessary :-)
Ridden this route on 01-05-2021. Very varied and beautiful route! Very steep hills with and without cobblestones, also some longer, less steep parts. Sometimes flat sections along the canals and rivers. Through forests (with the very famous Hallerbos and its flowering hyacinths) but also open fields with nice views. Also a passage along the well-known sloping area of Ronquières.
How beautiful this route is, how bad the road surface and the cycle paths can be. Sometimes you have to be careful when going downhill with cobblestones or bad tarmac, hands on the brakes! But please, don't let this deter you from doing this route, it's still worthwhile.
Frits, I would like to try a route before subscribing. Could you possibly send me the gpx? lukensandra@telenet.be. Tx! Luk

Done yesterday 3/05/2022 starting from Nivelles centre. Very difficult course but the goal was to do some d+... a lot of work on the course so it was not the right day. Very nice climbs and little time to breathe between each one but beautiful views and climbs that we would not have thought to do because they are only referenced here. Ideal with a Gravel bike but on a road bike with 28 tubeless it goes just as well. Done with my 25 tubeless tcr in very dry weather. The small path °24 in cobblestones at rue hilaire Parmentier should be referenced too because it hurts
I totally agree with you but in dry weather it's more pleasant because cobblestones and roads are sometimes borderline dangerous
