If you like cobblestones and vicious climbs, the combination of the Flemish Ardennes region and the Walloon Pays des Collines is a real treat for you. The two regions flow into each other and together they form a true cycling paradise. It is dozing off and suffering, but enjoying a beautiful landscape. There are many tough signposted cycling routes, such as the three loops (yellow, blue and red) of the Tour of Flanders cycling routes that start in the Scheldt city Oudenaarde, the Eddy Merckx cycling route from Ruien, the Hermes cycling route from Ronse and so on. Using the cycling junction system, you can also map out your own routes. Or just cycle around, you will always come across a cobblestone strip or a mountain.

As far as I'm concerned this tour lives up to its name. Ridden in bright weather and 26 degrees. It was really enjoyable, especially the first 120 km. After that it started to hurt
Because we started in Oudenaarde we had some of the toughest mountains to dessert with the Kwaremont, Paterberg and Koppenberg. On the last one I really went from cobblestone to cobblestone. But it was a nice final.

The route was fine.
